SEND

Meols Cop High strives to support inclusive and independent practise and develop the aspirations of all. As a school we support a wide range of students with identified SEND needs. To support students access to the curriculum we have a team on TA’s and support staff, as well as access to a range of internal and external specialist staff.

Meols Cop currently has two provisions within the mainstream school supporting ASD and SPLD. The allocation to these provisions is through Sefton local authority and students require an EHCP. These provisions function within the mainstream environment and allow students to access the mainstream curriculum and lessons, promoting independence.

To support students in their preparation for adulthood, students access a high level of guidance from our schools’ careers team and receive transition support into further education where needed.

Any enquiries regarding the SEND provision at Meols Cop High, please contact SEND@meolscop.co.uk.
