REPORTS
Sent home annually containing information about your child’s progress and future targets.
COMMENDATION LETTERS
Sent home when your child does particularly well in some aspect of school life.
REVIEW DAYS
A chance to come into school specifically to talk with staff about
your child. These annual events allow you to come into school at a
convenient time. In addition we have Parents’ Evenings for pupils in
year 10 and year 11
PLANNERS
A vital, regular link between home and school. Each child is issued
with a personal planner to record homework, targets, skills and
important dates.
BULLETINS
A news sheet containing general information sent home on the last school day each week.

LETTERS HOME
To inform you of any issues which affects your child.
TELEPHONE
A quick, effective way of contacting you about your child. We prefer to talk to you wherever possible.
SPECIAL REPORTS
These are issued by year tutors and are a very effective way of monitoring work, attitude and behaviour on a day to day basis.
PROGRESS
At any time parents/carers can discuss progress with the learning
tutor. The tutor can arrange for special reports to be written if
there is cause for concern.
PROGRESS CARDS
Progress cards are issued on a regular basis for each child which
provides parents/carers with a regular check on their child’s progress
without the need for full subject reports.
